Our vibrant and engaging Children’s Ministry (Toddler through Elementary ages) is led by Karola Scarce and Debbie Murschell — both former teachers with a heart for helping children grow in faith. They lead a large team of volunteers to help with Children's Ministry, including Sunday School.
The Sunday School teaching goes beyond simply sharing Bible stories; they help children understand the why behind the stories so their faith can take root and grow. Through creativity, curiosity, Scripture memorization, and hands-on learning, they inspire a genuine passion to follow Jesus.
Children are an essential part of life at Nokesville. From our dynamic Children’s Time during every worship service, to special worship aids designed just for them, to all-church dinners, Sunday School, and family-centered mission projects — kids are actively involved in the full life of the church. We also offer special children-focused events such as Vacation Bible School and other Kids-focused gatherings throughout the year. There's always something coming up!
And Puppets! Our Puppet Ministry is brand new and officially kicks off on April 12, 2026. We look forward to puppets in worship and a Fall season puppet workshop for elementary kids. Stay tuned!
Here, children don’t just attend — they belong, they grow, and they shine.
